Lobo

>> Wednesday, June 25, 2008

I'm not really certain but i think Lobo is a tagalog word for wolf.
I am a big fan of Lobo, a Pinoy telemovie with ABS-CBN.
For your daily dose of Lobo, checkout Pinoy TV Junkie.
Most of the time I watch the episodes via Pinoy TV Channel or You Tube and on occasions thru TFC.

It is almost at its final episodes. I cant wait to see the end and yet a bit saddened that its almost over. Oh well..I'll see Piolo Pascual again i'm sure. I hope he will star on another tele serye.

and on a related note,
I went to the Metro Toronto Zoo the other day for my daughter's school trip and took some photos.
Here's one of the wolf pack enjoying the warm weather.

What does your day mean?

>> Saturday, June 21, 2008

Want to know which day you were born?
Click on this calculator

Just for fun...

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY MEAN?

MONDAY:

Monday's child is
fair of face.

You are good-looking,
especially when you smile!

You are beautiful inside and out.

TUESDAY:

Tuesday's child is full of
grace.

You have many
talents, and are fun to be around.

You dance through life!

WEDNESDAY:

Wednesday's child is full of woe.

You are a serious
person, and try to change things that seem unfair.

You make the world a better place!

THURSDAY:

Thursday's child has far to go.

You have many ideas,
and you want to do them all.

You will go far in life!

FRIDAY:

Friday's child is loving and giving.

You are caring and
sharing.  You are kind,

you love people, and people love you!

SATURDAY:

Saturday's child works hard for a living.

You are ambitious,
enjoy work, and like to accomplish things.

You know what you want!

SUNDAY:

But the child born on the Sabbath day,

Is fair and wise and good and gay.

You are sunny, fun,
and loving.

You bring much joy to other people!

Thanks for this Gina!

Tulip Tree

>> Sunday, June 1, 2008

We planted this tree on my daughter’s 1st birthday.
On spring time, it blooms with these lovely yellow flowers.
The tulip tree is part of the magnoliaceae family and it smells good.

Tree

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.
