Rubber Plant

This is a rubber plant. We have a few pots in the house. This is one of them.

Did you start it from a cutting? I really like rubber trees. It gets a bit too hot here for them to look their best, and our occasional freezes do them in, so they won't work well outside. I never had much luck with them in the house. They seemed to always drop leaves.

I wonder where I can get rubber plants here in the Philippines... I like your pot. But does your beautiful pot help drain the soil when you water the plant?

Hi no rain,
My hubby is the green thumb in this family. I only admire and take the photos. I believe, he bought this from a gargen centre and is not from a cutting. Its always been an indoor plant and is always by the window to get some sun.

Hi Tani,

We have planters like this all over the house. It seem to work since most of the plants are looking healthy. There is no drainage, so the soil absorbs all the water. Watering is not done excessively.

As I mentioned above, my hubby takes care of all the plants. I just help in choosing which to plant. he!he!
